Biography

Dr. Dethard Peters earned his Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Braunschweig in 1986, and his PhD (Dr.-Ing.) in the same field from the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg in 1991. With a focus on novel semiconductors, he joined Siemens Corporate Technology, later SiCED, and has been with Infineon Technologies since 2012. He has a long and distinguished experience in R&D of SiC technology and power devices, and has managed numerous SiC projects. Dr. Peters is currently working as a subject matter expert in SiC MOSFET technology focusing on all aspects of chip architecture and design.
